In the early 90's, the guys from Spin-Tec were preparing their 48' trimaran for a year-long South Pacific cruise. The greatest concern, of course, was roller furling. Using their background in industrial design, engineering, and metal fabrication, they set out to design a bulletproof, foolproof headsail furler. They had four requirements: effortless furling under common wind conditions, no bearings to foul or halyards to wrap, and easy installation.
The result is the Spin-Tec Triumph 2000 furling system, a masterpiece of simplicity, form, and function.
