Harken Dual Drum Self-Tailing Quattro Winch B40STQ

The patented Quattro is an innovative all-in-one winch used on boats that require extremely fast winches to handle large asymmetrical spinnakers, but also need power to trim the genoa upwind. The Quattro features two drum diameters and four line speeds. The wide-diameter lower drum is used for fast trimming, the upper drum when more power is needed. Self-tailing Quattro winches are used on larger offshore boats that trim on the cabin house: speed for the spinnaker, but power and self-tailing ability for the guy and halyards. Standard winches have stainless steel roller bearings. They feature ball bearing races to support the vertical load of the drum.
